Michael McDonald of one sixtyblue Throws His Tocque in the Ring

We’re excited to announce that an amazing Chicago chef has signed on to participate in Baconfest Chicago. Michael McDonald of one sixtyblue is already brainstorming recipe ideas for his entry in the VIP Pro Bacon Cookoff. He’ll be competing for the Golden Rasher for Best Use of Bacon By A Professional. We’re delighted to have him aboard. Look for a baco-video and more features about this gladiator of bacon.

Chef McDonald and one sixtyblue will also be serving up tasty bacon snacks in the Bacon Cafe at Baconfest on October 25, along with a variety of other chefs. We’re really thrilled to see what he comes up with!
The VIP Pro Bacon Cookoff will take place on October 24; up to 12 chefs will compete for the Golden Rasher – the top prize in the Bacon world. If you’re a chef and would like to compete, email us at info@baconfestchicago.com.
