Located In the Heart of Lincoln Park, Gemini Bistro Redefines Neighborhood Dining Open since 2009, Gemini Bistro is a stylish, inviting bistro that offers contemporary American cuisine with French and Mediterranean influences. Executive Chef Jason Paskewitz and husband and wife team Ryan and Anna O’Donnell are at the helm of the acclaimed neighborhood restaurant, and recently added Rustic House to their growing Lincoln Park restaurant Family.
Named one of Chicago Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants” of 2009, awarded 3 Stars from Chicago Tribune food critic Phil Vettel, and most recently the recipient of the coveted Michelin Bib-Gourmand distinction, Gemini Bistro truly is Lincoln Park’s “gem.” Located in a classic flatiron building built in 1919, the surroundings offer a warm and relaxing environment with dark hardwood floors, tweed and leather booths, oversized drum lighting and turn-of-the-century reproduction Edison bulbs. The dining room seats 86 for dinner and the full-service, white marble bar seats 14, making it the perfect place to relax, nosh on a variety of menu items or simply sip a signature cocktail (try “The Squirtsky”) or glass of wine from the approachable and diverse wine list. Chef Paskewitz has over a decade of experience creating delicious dishes in some of Chicago’s finest. A Queens, New York native and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Paskewitz has adopted Chicago as his hometown and has found his true niche as Executive Chef/Partner of Rustic House and Gemini Bistro. Paskewitz’s seasonal menu and nightly specials showcase his experience and talent in executing straightforward, flavorful classics.

Rustic House restaurant in Lincoln Park, Chicago, features classic American dishes utilizing fresh, farm-to-table ingredients. Chef Jason Paskewitz and restaurateur Ryan O’Donnell provide urbanites with fresh Midwestern dishes – many from an imported Rotisol French rotisserie – in an intimate environment. Seasonal ingredients are served along with Gepperth Meat Market meats and other carefully selected components to create exciting, updated dishes. The warm décor features natural raw materials including weathered barnyard walls, burlap wall treatments, Travertine tiled floors and artwork by local artists.
Rustic House is owned by husband-and-wife team Anna and Ryan O’Donnell and partner Chef Jason Paskewitz. The team also owns and operates the Michelin Bib-Gourmand-winning Lincoln Park “gem,” Gemini Bistro.
