Hi Bacon-Nation:
First things first: We know many of you out there are wondering when we’re going to announce the Date and Venue for Baconfest Chicago’s 2012 annual spring bacon celebration. Hang tight, a big announcement is coming next week re: 2012. Stay tuned to baconfestchicago.com for details and make sure you JOIN OUR MAILING LIST.
But we know that spring of 2012 is still a long way off – so in the meantime, we’ve assembled a series of Satellite Dinners which will help get us all through these dreary fall/early winter evenings. What is a Baconfest Chicago Satellite Dinner? We at Baconfest Chicago partner with specific restaurants to host a gourmet multi-course seated dinner starring BACON of course.
Four amazing restaurants will be participating this year along with a host of ridiculously awesome sponsors. We’ll have cocktails from Candid Wines, Tenuta Santome (The Official Bubbly of Baconfest Chicago), Goose Island Brewpub and Baconfest Chicago’s premier bacon-sponsor, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats will be featuring their delicious bacon.
Our Satellite Dinners last year at Chalkboard, The Southern/Eve, and Paddy Longs were all quickly sold out and pretty fantastic. This years line-up is looking out of this world.
Here’s the schedule of events and a brief overview about each dinner.
