Baconfest (4/25 & 4/26) is T-minus 14 weeks away and we have two delicious news nuggets for you today.
Mark your calendars! General Admission Tickets ($100) go on sale FEBRUARY 24th. (Can’t wait that long? Some Cooking Channel VIP Hour tickets are still available at CHICAGO TICKETS.) This year, ticket holders will be able to select from THREE sessions that span TWO DAYS, April 25th and April 26th – a Baconfest first! Ticketholders get access to all the food offered during the shift selected, drink tickets, and a reusable Baconfest tote bag. Fear not, you can win tickets, too! Fan contests include the Nueske’s Amateur Bacon Cook-off and “best” bacon cocktail, bacon poem and bacon YouTube video competitions, to name a few.

The Highly-Anticipated 2014 Restaurant Roster! We’d be lying if we said we weren’t proud of how BFC has blossomed. Our first event featured ten chefs making bacon-creations. This year, more than 150 chefs and restaurants will share their bacon-genius at our bacon-vaganza.
Our gourmet bacon celebration would not be possible without the generous support of our amazing chef and restaurateur partners. Each and every one of them donates time, talent and resources inspired by a love of bacon, a desire to share the pork love and in support of our long-standing charity partner, The Greater Chicago Food Depository.

This year’s event will run the course of two days and we are in the process of finalizing each session’s line up. Stay tuned for those details early next month.
