Bake tater tots according to directions on bag, remove from oven a few minutes before fully cooked.
Place each tater tot at one end of a slice of bacon, place a slice of pickled jalapeno in front of the tater tot, then roll until tater tot is completely wrapped in bacon.
Secure each bacon tot roll with a tooth pick.
In a skillet or pan, warm vegetable oil.
Carefully place the bacon tots in vegetable oil, and pan fry, turning occasionally, until bacon is cooked throughout.
Remove from skillet, arrange on plate and top with shredded cheese.
