Pig Mix is a salty, smoky, bacon fat infused munchie mix.

Ingredient List:

  1. Rice Chex 12.8oz
  2. Corn Chex 14oz
  3. Wheat Chex 14oz
  4. Mini Pretzel Sticks 4 cups
  5. Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon 2lbs
  6. Worchestershire Sauce 6Tbsp
  7. Seasoned salt 1.5Tbsp
  8. Garlic Powder 2tsp
  9. Onion Powder 2tsp
  10. Melted Butter .5cups
  11. Liquid Smoke 2Tbsp
  12. Rendered Bacon Fat 1cup


  1. Frying Pan
  2. Large cookie sheet
  3. Parchment Paper
  4. 1 large spatula
  5. Oven
  6. Paper Towels
  7. Measuring utensils

Preparation of dish:

  1. Preheat oven to 275F
  2. Cook Nueske’s Bacon until crisp.
  3. Remove bacon from pan and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Leave Nueske’s rendered bacon fat in the frying pan and add melted butter.
  5. Stir with spatula to mix fat and butter together.
  6. Add Worchestershire and liquid smoke to the butter and bacon fat and stir.
  7. Lay all of your dry ingredients on your large cookie sheet and sprinkle with seasoned salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  8. Carefully pour liquid over all of the dry ingredients.
  9. Gently mix with your large spatula to make sure that the Chex and pretzles all get coated.
  10. Place the large cookie sheet in the oven for 15 minutes take out and toss ingredients with your large spatula.
  11. Repeat step 10 every 15 minutes(4x)
  12. Once it has been baked let cool for 20 minutes.
  13. Last but not least crumble up the crisp bacon and add it to the Pig Mix.
