Linda Bacin is the President of Casdan Inc doing business as Bella Bacinos, and VP of PL Enterprises Inc located in Chicago, and Lemont IL. Bella Bacinos is an Italian Trattoria concept operating four locations in the Chicago metropolitan area. Bacinos is well known for the development of the first heart healthy pizza to be included in the Chicago Heart Associations Eat Well Guide.

PL Enterprises provides products and services relative to the foodservice packaging and printing industry. PL Enterprises is developing a concessions concept of Real Food locally produced, trans fat free and organic and preservative free when possible.

Linda Bacin was elected to the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors in 1996 and for nine years held the position of an at-large voting member before being elected as a Director Emeritus. During her tenure as a voting director, she chaired several key Board committees, including the Marketing, Media and Communications Committee, the Government Affairs and Public Policy Committee, and the Convention Committee, as well as serving on numerous other board committees which generate policy and position recommendations that determine the direction of the national body that is the spokes-organization for the restaurant industry.

Ms. Bacin was elected to the Board of Trustees of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and served as an officer and Chair of the Board from 2004 until 2008.In 2012 Ms. Bacin was elected to serve on the National Restaurant Association Foundation strategy team, and to serve on the Sustainability and Social responsibility committee where collaborative efforts are focused on improving the foodservice packaging recovery issues, and governs Conserve which hosts the annual international foodservice packaging summit.

Linda Bacin remains an active participant in the Illinois Restaurant Association, having served as a board member and in the state association’s top leadership role as its board chairman. Linda serves on the Culinary Advisory Board to Kendall College and serves as consultant to the Unites States Farmers and Ranchers Association’s annual Food Dialogues Summit.

Ms. Bacin has been a long time supporter of community and civic activism. The Chicago Mayor’s Office of Special Events appointed her to the Taste of Chicago Committee, and the City of Chicago’s Sister Cities program. Her credentials include past chair of the the Board of the Illinois Restaurant Association and service on the executive board of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Board, on the executive board of the Heart Association, on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and in 1991 was named Pizza Person of the Year by the National Association of Pizza Operators.

In addition to her civic activism, Ms. Bacin has testified before Congressional and Regulatory agency oversight committees on behalf of the restaurant industry and continues her commitment to the United States Air Force Hennessey Program of Foodservice excellence.
Linda has appeared with Guy Ferrari and Rachel Ray on the Food Network and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show twice.

In 2011 Casdan Inc was awarded WBE status and is expanding their products and services.
