endgrain is a low key neighborhood destination in Roscoe Village. The cuisine is new American casual with the integrity of fine dining. The menu highlights dishes such as enoch’s doughnuts with La Colombe coffee, savory biscuit sandwiches, pies, and a rotating brunch and dinner menu inspired by the season’s freshest ingredients.
The name endgrain reflects the inner beauty revealed when wood is cut, a beauty also seen when cutting vegetables and meat. Like our neighborhood, endgrain is at once nostalgic and yet truly modern.
