Piece has been serving world class award-winning, hand crafted lagers and ales since opening in July 2001. Their beers are always fresh and brewed with the finest ingredients produced in small batches in their seven barrel brew house to ensure the best of the best. Piece is also known for it’s New Haven style pies, which pairs nicely with all of their award winning brews. Each Pie is hand-formed, made with the freshest toppings of your choice, and baked at a very high temperature. The result: A perfect pizza with the perfect crust that will want you having more. Piece was named Top Independent Pizzeria of the Year by Pizza Today Magazine in 2011 and Piece brews have won an impressive total of twenty five medals at the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival.  Most recently, Piece won a bronze medal for their Marketing Ploy, an Australasian-style pale ale (a collaboration with Three Floyds Brewery) and won gold for The Weight in the American-style Pale ale category–the second most competitive category with 122 entries–at the World Beer Cup this year. Piece also won Champion Small Brewpub and Brewer at the World Beer Cup in 2006.  Brewer Jonathan Cutler has 14 years of brewing experience, having brewed at some of the most well-respected breweries in the country.  He is a graduate of the esteemed Siebel Institute and received formal training from the Master Brewers Association of America.
