Executive Chef Rahjan Shabazz joined The Monkey’s Paw team in March of 2013. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Rah developed an interest in the culinary arts at the young age of nine. Inspired by his mother, a professional chef, he began his exploration of food and cooking, and went on to graduate from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in culinary arts. Building upon his stints as Sous Chef and Pastry Chef at renowned Philadelphia and Chicago establishments, Rah’s creations for The Monkey’s Paw are focused on simple ingredients and bold flavors, reflecting his love for Latin, Asian and French cuisine.
