Chicago’s first licensed mobile food preparer is now cruising neighborhood to neighborhood with a supply of our daily specialty salsas paired with tacos and quesadillas. Each and everyday we’re bringing our homemade salsas, hot sauces, guacamole, tacos & quesadillas directly to you. And for the first time in Chicago, cooking hot and fresh meals directly from the truck.

The Salsa Truck’s love of fresh, homemade food doesn’t end at salsa. As the seasons change, our menu evolves. This means hearty chili and soups in the winter, crisp salads in the summer, and weekly taco & quesadilla specials designed to pair perfectly with our signature salsas. We constantly strive to ensure that we are using the most superior ingredients in every aspect.

So, whether you’re looking for an afternoon snack or a meal, you’re sure to find exactly what you’re looking for with The Salsa Truck.


The Salsa Truck (and subsequently The Garage) was born out of necessity.

Chicago, the greatest city in the world, is lacking in one major department- a vibrant food truck scene. We have created The Salsa Truck so that we can help contribute to that void by joining our other food truck brethren in the streets of Chicago and showing to everyone that we can create a sustainable business model that focuses on quality and taste, rather than the bottom line.

Just as necessarily, we created The Garage to provide a home for the truck and act as a gathering place for our friends.

We are here to continue to prove that great food doesn’t have to come from the halls of a culinary school, but rather from the heart and soul of the people making it. Our culinary education began the day we were born, and will not end until the day we die.

We wholeheartedly believe that a great meal can make your day.


The Garage, home of The Salsa Truck, is where the magic happens. It’s more than just a place to park our truck and cook our food – it’s the main hub for everything we do. Based out of the Chicago’s heralded West Loop neighborhood, we strive to bring you inspired food at sensible prices.

Every weekday we bring you selections from The Salsa Truck’s menu in addition to a different daily theme – one day we might bring you Mediterranean food followed the next day with a Chicago-style food theme. You never know what me might just cook up! While everyday our menu changes, the one constant is The Salsa Truck’s signature items – tacos, quesadillas and, of course, chips and salsa.

The Garage also serves as a retail shop and record store. We have our favorite salsas, hot sauces, rubs and marinades jarred so you can take both The Garage and The Salsa Truck home with you. As well as food, we have our favorite vinyls on hand. At night, we offer two-hour cooking classes with dinner for up to six people. Learn the art of salsa making, enjoy a taco dinner, and take what you make home with you.

On any given day, you can find us in there perfecting our craft, listening to music on vinyl, and rewarding a hard day’s work with a homemade beer. Please feel free to stop by and hang out whenever you want!
